Structure-function analyses of dual-BON domain protein DolP identifies phospholipid binding as a new mechanism for protein localisation to the cell division site
This domain is found in a family of osmotic shock protection proteins (e.g. Swiss:P27291). It is also found in some Secretins and a group of potential haemolysins. Its likely function is attachment to phospholipid membranes [1].
